  • Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F / 160°C fan forced.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat together the softened butter, vegetable oil, and brown sugar until the mixture is light in color and fluffy.
